Carmen is a longtime supporter of United Way of Logan County and a passionate advocate for community health. With a background in social work, she serves at Mary Rutan Hospital, where she helps patients transition from hospital care to supportive resources in the community. Through this work, Carmen has developed a deep appreciation for how collaboration and strong community connections help individuals and families succeed.
Her involvement with United Way includes years of service as a workplace campaign champion at Mary Rutan Health, participation on the Campaign Committee, and joining the Board of Trustees in 2022. Carmen is drawn to United Way’s mission of meeting people where they are and strengthening partnerships that improve lives throughout Logan County.
Carmen lives outside of Bellefontaine with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and cheering on her daughter as she stays busy with numerous activities.
