LifeCare Alliance, funded by United Way, is the meals-on-wheels provider for Logan County, delivering meals to more than 300 homebound residents who cannot cook for themselves each weekday.  More than just a meal, the visits allow for residents to be checked on to make sure they're OK and help them remain living independently in their home.  Thanks to your United Way support and various grant sources, no Logan County resident has paid for a meal since LifeCare Alliance took over the service in 2014 and there is no waiting list to sign up.  Call (614) 278-3130 for more information or to sign up.  

Greater Riverside Area Community Encouragers is a United Way-funded group of DeGraff and Quincy area church members who come together to fill backpacks of food for more than 100 Riverside students to take home every weekend during the school year.  Over the summer, they provide a weekly meal each Wednesday at the DeGraff Park (101 N. Logan County Community Neighborhood Outreach Centers is a United Way Funded Agency providing free summer meals to children at all three of their drop-in centers.
