Katie is a passionate community advocate and supporter of initiatives that strengthen families and improve quality of life across Logan County.
As a former teacher at Bellefontaine City Schools with 15 years in the classroom and current freelance digital marketer, Katie is dedicated to supporting programs that promote health, education, entrepreneurship and financial literacy within our youth. She believes that strong communities are built when individuals and organizations work collaboratively toward investing in the next generation.
Her involvement with United Way of Logan County since 2020 reflects her belief in the organization’s mission and its ability to create meaningful, lasting change throughout the community. In addition, she brings a strong commitment to service as a dedicated volunteer at Indian Lake Schools in classrooms and as a Coach for the Little Laker Running Club, supporting the YMCA Hilliker Heat Swim Team as Fundraising Coordinator and working collaboratively with the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District. Katie and her husband, Darrin Haubert have two boys, Charlie and Andrew and they reside at Indian Lake. She enjoys running half-marathons and reading. One of the UW programs she values most is the Dolly Parton Imagination Library as it encourages a love and interest in reading in young children.
She is proud to support United Way’s work and remains committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those who call Logan County home.
